Scott R. Grewe, MD

Meet Dr. Scott Grewe, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon experienced and fellowship-trained in knee and shoulder surgery, sports medicine, and arthroscopy.

Dr. Grewe’s areas of expertise interest are minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopic knee surgery, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repair; posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) repair; computer navigated partial and total knee surgery; and, robotic-assisted Mako partial knee resurfacing and total knees.

Dr. Grewe is a native Oregonian who received his medical degree at the Oregon Health Sciences University. He completed his internship and residency programs at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, followed by fellowship programs in Orthopedic Trauma at Grady Hospital in Atlanta and Sports Medicine at Salt Lake Knee and Sport Medicine.

Dr. Grewe is a Clinical Instructor in Orthopedic Surgery at Oregon Health Science University. He has written numerous professional articles in the area of his specialty, sports medicine. Dr. Grewe has been a ski instructor at Mt. Hood Meadows and worked at the Mt. Hood Medical Clinic. He has been the team physician for the University of Portland athletes for the past 26 years and has worked with the former Portland Power Women’s Professional Basketball team.

Dr. Grewe also works with the Men and Women U.S. Soccer teams and was the venue Medical Director for the 1997 and 1998 Semi-Finals World Cup; 1999 and 2003 Women’s World Cup; U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team 2012; and, CONCACAF U.S. Men’s National Gold Cup 2013.

Dr. Grewe’s favorite activities include skiing, bicycling, fly-fishing, archery, flying, cooking and spending time with his family.
